What We Do
First Large Group of Fall Quarter:
9.27.2017 @ 6:30-8:30pm in Kane 110
After the sermon we will have free food from two local food trucks!
Wednesday nights @ 8:00PM during the fall, winter, and spring quarters RUF gathers in Johnson Hall room 102 for music, fellowship, and teaching from the Bible by our campus minister. Plan to come early or stay late to grab snacks and meet some new people. All are welcome!
Small groups are the primary way that you can get to know other RUF students and grow in your faith. Our groups meet around campus at different times and locations, and usually last about an hour. We have snacks, hang out, and read & process the Bible together. Simply find the one closest or most convinent to you and stop by.
RUF believes the gospel of Jesus compels us to strive for justice, mercy, and humbly walking before God and humanity. Each quarter RUF tries to do at least one service project in and around Seattle. We'd love for you to come serve with us.
One on Ones
Don't be surprised if Drew, Matthan, or Catie ask you to grab coffee or lunch on campus sometime... they do it with everyone. Here's why: They want to get to know you better and for you to get to know them. It's their way of caring for you. So, even if you've never done anything like that with a pastor or staff before, and are freaked out by the thought, we'd encourage you to give it a try at least once. Also, if you have something you'd like to talk about, feel free to shoot Drew, Matthan, or Catie a text or Facebook them. They'd love to hang out!
We like to have fun and do things together at RUF. We go hiking, have game nights, go to baseball games and the movies, have BBQs and parties, etc, etc, ETC. These are great times to invite your friends and come have fun with us!
As a ministry for students of all kinds at UW, we welcome the time and efforts of a dedicated group of students that help lead RUF. The ministry team meets monthly and does everything from leading worship and small groups, to planning RUF events.
